Features and Functionality
The Image Class MF6550 hasa maximum print speed rating of 23 pages per minute. This speed is on these units copy speed. The MF6550 has a maximum resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, which corresponds to 1200 x 600 dots per inch. This device can handle heavy volume printing and copying with a paper capacity of 600 pages and a monthly duty cycle of 15,000 pages. The MF6550 also has the automatic duplex function for double sided printing and copying built. A 50-sheet ADF or automatic document feeder is also included with this printer.
This device has a built-in 24-bit color scanner that can scan images at 600 x 600 max resolution dip. This gives a 9600 x 9600 dpi in enhanced mode. Document sizes up to legal (8.5 "x 14") are supported as well as the following output file types: JPEG, TIFF, PDF, BMP.
Connectivity for the Canon MF6550 is easy with the USB port of the printer. A third party network adapter or print server can be used to connect to this> Printer to a network or workgroup.
The fax machine has built in all the standard features you expect from a fax machine in the world today: 33.6 Kbps Transmission Speed, 256 pages of memory transmission and a 23 speed dial keys.
